Because of this, the governments of more than 25 countries have placed bans on men who have had sex with other men in certain time frames, ranging from 1-36 years, with some stating that if they have had sex with other men at all in their lives, they are ineligible. However, the main cause of HIV in gay men is not solely having sex with other men, but rather UNPROTECTED sex with an HIV positive partner.

It’s not as if this news would surprise anyone who eavesdrops on conversations at their favourite bar, but the fascinating part of the discovery comes in the form of a brain chemical called nanopeptide F (NPF). In the experiment conducted on fruit flies, researchers confirmed that male fruit flies that mated regularly had much higher levels of NPF than their comrades who weren’t getting laid. So what does this have to do with alcohol? The scientists revealed how the male flies who weren’t getting it on — AND the male flies who were getting sex often, but whose NPF levels were lowered by the researchers — showed a huge preference for alcohol-laced food.
Same-sex marriage should be legal. Homosexual marriage should be on the same playing field as heterosexual marriage. Once this feat is mastered then equality will not hold boundaries as it does at the moment. In an interview with Katie Wiley, 37-year-old heterosexual college student and mother, when asked what the benefit of same-sex marriage was, she answered, “The benefit of same-sex marriage is equality. Everyone should be treated the same whether or not they are homosexual or heterosexual.” Pondering her answer makes it clear that not everyone is equal.

The not so great this about this is that even if your intentions are good you tend to forget that not everyone thinks like you and is clear on their own sense of values. Believing that you are doing the right thing justifies on what other people’s opinions are. My strengths and weaknesses are that I can not help but to feel damaged whenever I see something going on around me that I can not naturally fix myself.
