In and Out: Hamburgers are no more “Fast Foods.” Description A hamburger is one of the most popular foods in the world. No matter with gender, age, nationality, or social status, many people like to eat hamburgers not only because of its taste but also because of its availability. Most hamburgers franchises represent “fast food” because customers can get hamburgers as soon as they order them. However, the quality of the “fast food” is considered as unhealthy because most popular hamburger franchises use ingredients with very low quality in order to provide hamburgers to consumers quickly with low prices. However, a hamburger franchise called In and Out breaks out of the stereotypical characteristics of hamburger franchises.
While Burger King and McDonald’s both have the same types of foods, each of them are very different at the same time. For starters I will start out by saying that each place cooks their burgers differently. Burger King Flame broils their burgers. The burgers get placed on a rolling rack, that rolls them through a fire and by the time they get to the end of the rack the burgers are ready to be made into a sandwich. McDonald’s grills their
McDonald’s burgers are lighter than Burger Kings, and weigh only 100 grams, whereas Burger Kings weigh 120 grams. The same person who takes the order at McDonald’s is the same person that serves the food, however this does not apply in the drive-thru if both windows are operating. Burger king is set up more like an assembly line, one person takes your order, and another person serves the food. McDonald’s also makes all their burgers at one time, in mass production and they are fried, then when you place your order they can add additional toppings on that you ask for. Examples would be ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, lettuce, depending on which sandwich has been ordered.
The restaurant is small in size but extremely fast when it comes to making healthy, steamy, warm healthy food. The staff of this location is very friendly and will have the food ready less than a minute whether the order is place in person or thru Kiosks. All the food is prepared in open location front of customer. This particular location also has nice seating area in the lobby but most the people just carryout the food. All the items on Wow Bao menu are gluten free.
It has been realized that 99 per cent of the world population is not yet McDonald’s customers. 3) New food items- As McDonald’s has already made a good impression on the minds of the people there is a good scope for introducing new food items in order to have some variation in the food item. They have the ability to add healthier lines of food. They have already gotten rid of super sizing and I think they have made their fries healthier. 4) Low competition- When McDonalds was entered in the market there was very low competition.
Subway runs great marketing schemes such as the “buy one get one sandwich free” day that they offer, or reducing the price of every sandwich on the menu to only five dollars excluding the premium subs. In my opinion, Subway is a much better choice than other fast food restaurants for a couple of reasons. For one, their top priority is the customer and they zone in on a positive atmosphere to make the customer feel comfortable by allowing them to choose exactly what and how much of it they want on their sandwich versus other places where you tell them what number you want and that’s what you get. Another thing is the all of the different promotions Subway runs. Every single month they have a special
In comparison, both restaurants have a play place which is convenient for children especially if they ate too much because they can burn off the calories by playing. Both McDonalds and Burger King have a variety of food suitable menu for most eating lifestyles with limited variety for vegetarians. A vegetarian might enjoy oatmeal, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, parfaits apple pies, salads, fries, and basically any drink. Although the idea of a more vegetarian friendly menu hasn’t come to mind yet, both Burger King and McDonalds constantly try to improve their menu by putting new items on it such as fruit & maple oatmeal. From that, it could be inferred that both restaurants have good service and treat the
People say that it is Mcdonalds fault for them gaining weight, but what they don’t understand is that they have the choice wether they should eat it or not, or even how much they eat. They have control over wether they should go and pick out a nice healthy salad or go to a fast food restaurant such as Mcdonalds and get fatty food there that is super-sized, and get french fries that are all salty. So I say it is not Mcdonalds fault for people becoming obese and overweight all over the country! it is their own fault that they are gaining this much weight in such little time. Mcdonalds is a very popular restaurant where they advertise food all over the place on billboards in stores, on the
It is listed on the menu as being “Grilled Portobello mushroom, chopped tomato, basil & garlic pomodoro, caramelized onion, pesto, lettuce, tomato, red onion, chipotle ranch”. I chose it because I am a fan of mushroom, basil, and pesto. I chose the cabbage slaw as my side, and chose to have the meal “Wrap-style”, simply meaning that the contents were wrapped in what I believe was a tortilla. The restaurant did not specify as to what the tortilla was made from, corn or flour or otherwise. I ran the listed ingredients through MyDietAnalysis, and found that the total calories were 754 calories, with most of the calories coming from
McDonalds and Burger King may not be good for you, but to most people it tastes good. The most popular food on the menu for both restaurants is the French fries. McDonalds fries contain potatoes, vegetable oil, canola oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, natural beef flavor, citric acid preservative, dextrose, sodium acid, pyrophosphate, salt, Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, citric acid, and Dimethylpolysiloxane (what’s in). In comparison to Burger King fries which contain Potatoes, Soybean Oil, Modified Potato Starch, Rice Flour, Salt, Leavening (Disodium Dihydrogen Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Dextrose, Xanthan Gum, and Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate (Burger King). Although the ingredients may be somewhat similar the taste of the fires are very different.
