General Information on McDonald McDonald is the largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants in the world, serving more than 68 million customers daily across 35,000 outlets in 199 countries across the world. It was founded by Richard and Maurice McDonalds as a barbecue restaurant in the United States in 1940. In 1948, Richard and Maurice reorganized their business as a hamburger stand using production line principles, the beginning of the fast-food company, which it is today. In 1955, a businessman called Ray Kroc, joined the company as a franchise agent. McDonald's has food from salads to cheeseburgers, so pre-preparation is a must. If the customer has passengers eating with him, he has to ask them what they want and has to make a mental note of it. 2. In the next step, the customer has to check his list of food he ordered • While the customer is ordering, there will be an electronic sign with what he wants on it and what his bill is. After he is done ordering, he hast o check it to make sure the staff isn't missing anything or that they haven't put too many food items on. • If they are missing something, the customer has to tell them what they forgot or what they gave too many of. 3. Step 3 consists of paying • After the customer moved his car and is moving towards the first window, he has to get his money ready. It not only makes the line faster, but it's easier for the staff and the customer. 4. In the last step, the customer has to check his food • When they give the customer the ordered food, he has to check it to make sure they put in everything he ordered. Just because it was on the electronic board doesn't mean it's in his bag. If they didn't give him everything, he just has to say, "Oops, you forgot one of my salads". Then they will check, and give it to him. (2)
