Aura L. Guir College Prep. June 16, 2010 The biography of Rosa Louise Parks Rosa was born on February 4th, 1913, in Tuskegee Alabama, she was the oldest of the two children her parents had. Rosa was brought up by her parents James and Leonna McCauely, her father was a carpenter and her mother was a teacher. At the age of two Rosa, her younger brother Sylvester and her mother moved to her grandparent’s farm in Pine Level, Alabama. At the age of 11 she was enrolled at the Montgomery Industrial School for girls once graduated, she went on to Alabama State Teacher's College High School.
When Angelou was 12 years old an educated black woman from Stamps by the name of Bertha Flowers helped her to break this silence. Angelou graduated at the top of her Morrison 2 eighth grade class in Stamps, Arkansas. Because of the racial issues in Stamps, their grandmother thought it was in the best interest of the children to move them to California. Angelou attended George Washington High School where she studied dance, music and drama. At the age of seventeen Angelou graduated from high school and gave birth to a son Guy Bailey Johnson.
Karen did not see herself as a very beautiful or talented girl so she then leaned to her studies as a partial comfort. Karen succeeded in school and did very well in most everything that she attempted. Shortly after being accepted to a college, Karen married the man that she had fallen in love with, Oskar Horney. Oskar was a law student that she met in college. Shortly after being married Karen gave birth to her first daughter.

I am Marissa’s grandmother, I am writing this essay about Marissa because I am so impressed with her motivation and determination to be just like other kids her age. Marissa has had a hard three years of life so far, but she has come along way. I am very proud of her, she is my little princess. When my daughter was pregnant with Marissa she took to much Tylenol which caused Tylenol poisoning.
Growing up, she was most widely influenced by her mother and grandmother after her father was killed in a train accident when she was four years old. She attended school until she graduated at the age of 17. In 1870 she married Oscar Chopin and moved with him to New Orleans. However in 1880 when they suffered financial problems and were forced to move in with her father-in-law, where Oscar Chopin took over his father's plantation. Soon after, 1883 Oscar Chopin died, and she had to take over the plantation.

On April 1, 1960, Freida Hughes was born. After the birth of her first daughter, Sylvia's first collection of poems titled, "The Colossus" was published in the United Kingdom Later in 1961, Sylvia suffered a devastating miscarriage. This event pulled her deeper into depression and it was very evident in her writing and in everything… In 1960, Sylvia Plath's first collection of poems, The Colossus was published.
But then in the end she comes to good terms with her mother, when she offers her the piano she used to play on. This was on her 13th birthday. Essay: The name of the story is “Two Kinds” and it was written in 1989 by Amy Tan. It’s about a girl who in the beginning of the story is 9 years old (page 1, line 6) and in the end is 13 years old (page 5, line 160). She in this time has a identity struggle with her mother, because she is obsessed with the American idea of being anyone you want.
It’s Me, Margaret because it’s one of those books that everybody except me had read – it’s a classic!
