Lessons learnt from class/readings/case study last week: The Henry Silva case study presented to our group a situation that we found inspiring. Silva, like us, was still in the student phase of his life, but he was able to use his passion of business, experiences, and knowledge from schooling to be put forth towards a larger goal. Thus far throughout the course we have looked at change agents as being individuals associated with the organization, or consultants brought in specifically for the situation. Silva however walked into the opportunity of becoming a potential change agent by being the one to speak up to Perkins. He presented current issues that the firm was facing, and his opinion that the firm was not operating at their full capacity.
