Managing Change at Faslane Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the Royal Navy managed Faslane, until they decided in 2002 to collaborate with Babcock Marine (which is a private company) for refining the services and declining costs. The main agenda behind the collaboration was to improve the services and to diminishing expenses. It is the responsibility of the company Babcock Marine, to improve their operational efficiency and cost savings. The goal of saving 76 million pounds in five years is to be achieved by Babcock Marine. The target achieved is also considered the best which is a significant change to be brought to Faslane. TASK A In the case of Faslane, we observed changes in strategy, structure, processes, systems and cultural aspects of strategy and leadership. Analysis of the impact of the change process has undergone changes were analyzed Leadership & Strategic Change Change has started by establish cooperative arrangements with industrial enterprises, to save a great amount of cost in the contract period. The main drive behind the Faslane is to reduce the cost of contracting business by entirely sharing the profit from the savings. In addition to the organization, the more they save, the more they get paid from the profit. The big drawback in Faslane was customer support service, as it was seen less important than buildings and fleet. Part of the change, was to change the work ethics and to emphasise more on customer service. This was seen as a challenge as working environment have been the same for years and know had to face dramatic changes. The biggest drawback is the Faslane customer support service, because it is considered less important than the buildings and fleet.
