Some practitioners may not have studied for a long time and therefore may not be confident and also a lack of ICT knowledge can be a potential barrier. Knowing where to go to find out information about CPD can be a barrier, especially since the resources and people that I would of approached are no longer in their job roles. Therefore it becomes time
Despite CanGo’s initial success, however, the organization is not without its fair share of concerns. The primary issue with CanGo is that it lacks a formal strategic business plan. The company has also failed to clearly define what its short-term goals and long-term goals are and how it plans to go about realizing those goals. The company also has problems with its current organizational structure. Although roles are clearly defined, CanGo often succumbs to a centralized form of decision-making, with Elizabeth Bennett micromanaging to such a degree that the decision-making process almost becomes paralyzed.
People will often ask what makes a good or long lasting relationship. In truth there is no one answer, what works for some will not work for others, it’s about finding the balance that suits the both people. At the beginning of a new relationship, the excitement of being in that relationship helps us to not see the things the other person does which may cause annoyance. At this stage in the relationship both parties find themselves faced with everyday realities which means they have to work at the relationship to find and maintain a balance. When couples are faced with life changing events or illnesses the balance changes quickly and they will find themselves in the difficult position of facing their own feelings and fears while trying to support each other.
Unfortunately we did not have a good dynamic with at least 1 team member which cause a quite a bit of delay and frustration, but we were able to side step this for the most part and push on with the objectives. Things got really bad one particular week and I am glad it’s over I will have to really do some thinking about how to deal with this if it happens in the real world. 3. What did you learn in completing this project about yourself and how you work in a team environment? I work better with people who are of similar thinking, I think that I lead better than follow, and I know that I prefer to work on things alone.
For example “ I always get stressed when I have to work to a deadline” this person would associate the deadline with failure and would therefore avoid working to a deadline however if they inspected what had led them to fail on a particular project they would certainly see that the deadline had little to nothing to do with the failure. If the person continues with this thought process then they will probably become very anxious at work and more than likely underachieve so they are not in a position where they are responsible for complying with deadlines. Or Personalization when someone insists that things always happen to them either good or bad oh that just my luck this always happens to me, why me? This can be paired with rituals that an individual will perform either to prevent something from happening or indeed to make it happen, I once new someone who when approaching traffic lights would not blink until they had passed through by performing this ritual she believed that she was keeping the lights from changing ( although I feel that the increased speed in which she would approach the lights often got her through before they changed) we have cognitive distortions and it is healthy to have some but it becomes unhealthy for a person when the distortions they have cause them anxiety and interfere with daily life. It
No game.” Fear though, makes you more than just cynical and pessimistic. It shatters your confidence and psyche. And what does that do? It causes you to miss a lot of opportunities to rebuild your confidence and get get yourself back on your feet. If you’re always waiting to be sure it’s safe to do something, you’ll never get much of anything done.
Knowing that I scored low in most of the situations dealing with employees, it’s one of those areas I have to improve in. When becoming a leader, I do not think I will ever reward someone for Doing something they have done good. At the same time, I have put you in that position that will help the team succeed in. it will also be hard for me to be a change champion. If something isn’t broke don’t fix it.
Employees often see change as threatening. What are some of the sources of resistance to change, and what can you as a manager do to overcome that resistance? I think that most people resist change at some point in time and that it may take other people longer to adapt to changes than others, and some may not adapt at all. I think most people prefer stability and tend to avoid situations that increase stress levels or put themselves at risk. People resist change for several reasons.
In the previous levels personal development was not planed thus some of the areas suffered causing a decrease in the knowledge levels. Over the years personal development was random and skills acquired were easily forgotten due to lack of adequate practice and use of these knowledge in the practical world. The personal development plan was designed to tackle the areas where weakness was seen in the learning process and ensure the areas of strength were maintained at high levels. The initial development plan was aimed at improving personal presentation skills, confidence was lacking in the presentation skills thus the presentations were not convincing to the audience, the presentation took longer times than
I have been in the same field for more than 12 years and I desire a career change. I am holding myself back from truly moving forward in a new career because I have the mindset that it is not possible because I do not have any experience in the career field that I would like to change into. Another one is that my voice doesn’t count. I always tend to think that nothing I say will truly matter anyway so I tend to not share ideas or thoughts. These mental models/mindsets have had a negative influence on my decision making and are holding me back from possibly positive outcomes.
