Kudler Fine Foods is a gourmet ingredients shop and offers in-store parties and now going in to catering business. It is managed by Kathy Kudler. So customers know that it is going to be gourmet food experience because she notices some of the people at the catering places are regular customers at her stores. One reason is because it’s priceless being that it is printed out on all our customer receipts. The second reason is because it will bring people back to our restaurant or at least consider it. The final reason is that it will bring customers here during lunch hours. For many restaurants, there slowest hours are during the day so we figure that giving them this coupon to use before 3PM any day of the week will give us busier lunch hours and higher revenues each day of operation. I’ve seen this idea used in many famous restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, Starbucks, fast food places and
where as the food shops in city road stay open until the early hours these places of consumption are then mainly being used by people who have been out drinking, clubbers and people enjoying a night out as was talked about by Naveed Akram of Classic Fried Chicken [`ordered lives`, 2009, scene 5] .Staveley Road is also different to City Road in that it has a large playing field and a small childrens play area,in the day time this attracts mothers with toddlers and schoolchildren, who would perhaps buy a chip dinner and spend their

Warehouse clubs like a magnet for customers and pulling them away from other traditional retail channels such as supermarkets, department stores, drugstores, office supply stores, consumer electronics etc… All three warehoused club rivals - Costco, Sam’s and BJ’s – have similar strategies: Low prices, low operating costs, geographic expansion – Costco; Sam’s Club concept is to sell merchandise at low profit margins, which means at low prices to members; and BJ’s offers brand-name merchandise at prices that were significantly lower than the prices found at retail, supermarkets, dept. store etc… Costco and Sam’s have similar strategies: * provide items in bulk and at low prices * Most of the items are supplied by
Jeffrey Kung Mrs. L Writing 1 7 October 2013 Cooking with Costco Costco Wholesale is a massive warehouse where many Americans shop at to get their daily supplies and other products. The warehouse has a wide variety of useful products ranging from suitcases to bounce houses to televisions to lobsters. Although the warehouse offers so much variety to its customer’s, there is a bad side to it as well known as the Costco effect. Costco also has quite a few restrictions. Besides their restrictions, Costco also do not have equal quality treatment of all of their food products.
During the day this is used as a restaurant, which welcomes everybody from children to older people. This shows that during the day, people with different ages use the street for different reasons. However at night the club is used as a place for people to drink and dance. This causes age diversities as only people over a certain age are allowed in and the older generation won’t want to go to places like that at night, meaning they won’t use the street at that time of night. Frodingham Road is used for many purposes, for different people of all ages and races.
On the other hand, Houston was crowded, humid and just plain odd. But the longer I lived in Houston the more I learned about its uniqueness. In Houston there is culture, along with rodeos; champagne, along with beer and designer stores, along with Wal-Mart. Therefore there are no words to explain Houston, you have to experience it. Sometimes it seems like a different culture, but it’s a culture that many choose because it allows you to feel at home without being pretentious.
We crossed Guatemala in cars and buses it was nice and fun because I could see the Mother Nature. While we were traveling we only stopped to eat, drink, and to use the bathroom. Sometimes I ate good food that I liked, but sometimes I did not like. When I arrived in México the taste of the food was very spicy. It took me more than a week to cross México.
