MAKING SENSE This article is about making sense of Organisational change. The world we live in continues to change at an intense rate. Not a day goes by, without another important discovery. Organizational change poses a particularly critical and difficult setting for sensemaking. Sensemaking is an effort to create orderly and coherent understandings that enable change. Once people understand that everything around us makes senses then having sense of business helps enterprises, individuals and business managers to acquire new skills and build on existing ones. Entrepreneurs and business managers often feel that they need to acquire new skills and brush up on existing ones in order to achieve targets, make money and avoid making elementary mistakes and for this it is necessary to understand that everything that happens in and around the bussines environment makes sense. Change is a constant. Change occurs within our world and beyond -- in national and international events, in the physical environment, in the way organizations are structured and conduct their business, in political and socioeconomic problems and solutions, and in societal norms and values. As the world becomes more complex and increasingly interrelated, changes seemingly far away affect us. Thus, change may sometimes appear to occur frequently and randomly. In recent years change has occurred within almost all the organisations.
