One decision in life can change your whole future. Making choices can affect any and everything in your life whether it’s dealing with your family or just everyday situations. Everyone in life is faced with good and bad choices that can either have a good outcome on your life or negative. Yes, everyone wants to make good choices in life. But does that always happen? Nine times out of ten, no. Recently, I made a negative choice that affected my life in numerous ways. This negative decision unfortunately happened to be shoplifting. Because of my unintelligent decision to take something at which did not belong to me, my parents looked down on me as if I was a thief. I’m very embarrassed of my actions but there’s nothing I can do to erase it I can only make this a learning experience and make better choices next time around. As teenagers were often expected to make the right choices but we never really evaluate the good and bad in anything. We just do things in the moment then look back after it already has affected us and we wish we would have evaluated the negative and the positives of the decisions we have made. "A smart man learns from his own mistakes, but a wise man learns from others mistakes." I believe one does not have to make all the mistakes possible before learning that some choices are better left not chosen. There are so many positive things in life to be experienced, why limit yourself by letting bad life choices hold you back from achieving your full potential? If that is the case, you can never feel really good about doing a bad thing. This may indeed be a difficult process and may need determination, faith, and most importantly practice. With this being said, the following are a few easy and simple tips to always follow in helping you make good decisions. 1. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS Practice basic courtesy. Say "please" and "thank you," when you need
