I have three certifications in that class and those will help me find a good paying job because that’s what employer’s look for and it sets me apart from other applicants. I’ve had several job offers since I’ve been in this class. My welding teacher has referred me to big name companies and they’ve called me and told me to come out there for an interview. I’m excited to see which company I’ll go with to get my career started. Welding has played a big part in my life because I grew up around it.
Self reflection is also knowing that I may need professional development in an area. This is needed so that I can be able to show unconditional positive regard, a non judgemental attitude and to be able to show empathy. Therefore it is important that I take time out to reflect in my performance and development. Self awareness can also be done in supervision or through peers. It helps to keep one’s mind fresh and with new ideas on how to deal with issues which I face during my sessions with a client.

Joshua Joseph (2000) published data answering this question. Several of the “potential benefits linked to effective ethic training programs include:…Fostering a more satisfying and productive working environment.” Maintaining the trust of members to ensure continued self-regulation…Legitimizing open discussion of ethical issues.” After this introduction, employees will engage in a brainstorming session to share more ideas and give concrete examples about why this training is an integral element of a productive business. Secondly, the presenter will explain the definitions of each of the four elements in section one. In addition the reasons why these elements were chosen will be a topic of discussion. Our company strives to be as transparent as possible and to instill in employees the fact that an understanding of these elements is important to build a culture of trust within our company.
I would say that some of these characteristics that I carry include: a curious and sharp mind, empathy, perceptiveness, humility, and self-reflection. Counselors must be curious about what makes people, groups, and systems do what they do and I am definitely curious about all of that. This trait is important both for learning more about others, as well as doing therapy and staying abreast of the ever evolving, new treatments, that are being created in the psychology field. A Counselor's primary task is to listen to others with empathy, and I enjoy doing just that! I believe that listening to others and being able to put yourself in their shoes in order to understand what they might be feeling is very critical.
I was always there for my teammates on and off the field, and I know for a fact that they would still do the same. This not only applies to my teammates but to my friends and family as well, for none of these networks would be fully operational without the trust and support of one another. Today, I see myself as still being as involved in sports as possible, for I play on almost every one of my fraternity’s intramural teams that our fraternity offers. It honestly gives me a chance to “re-live the glory days”, something that I need to do from time to time for my overall sanity. Also, I am an Aggie football fanatic.
My First Job Everyone has had a job experience, and the first is always the most memorable. I had my first job as a cashier. I started my job after living for two months in the United States, and that was my first job experience in life. I learned values about the sacrifices, responsibilities, and life lessons through my job. When I started my job, I was really excited and happy to know about my job.
