The Question Persists: Am I in Love, or Am I in Lust? Have you ever been in a relationship and thought you were in love but it probably was lust? I’m here to help figure that out, if it’s love or lust. Now, I can’t tell you if you really are in love or lust, because this is simply my opinion on which is which, and you can form your own opinion on love and lust. Love and lust are two emotions that can change our lives for the best or for the worst. Love has many different dictionary definitions, such as a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person, a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend, affectionate concern for the well-being of others: the love of one's neighbor, and a strong predilection, enthusiasm, or liking for anything: her love of books. Although love has many different definitions, the best fit for my topic is a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person and a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection. There are many types of love, such as with friends and family, as opposed to a romantic relationship with someone. When two people are in love, you can tell. The way they look at each other, to see the passion and caring for the other. Some signals are obvious, and some you have to know the couple. The people in the relationship talk about the other like they are the world, yet they still love the imperfections. People who are in love don’t have to be connected at the hip with the other; they can have distance and spend time with their own friends as well. When you’re in love, you don’t have to think twice about being with someone else. Love is a deep connection between two people and they love each other for the person they’ve gotten to know.
