I believe love is the most beautiful thing in the world, and it is something that one should cherish. Everyone is born to feel, accept, and give love. Love appeals to me in many different ways, it brings not only warmth but also comfort to my heart. There are three different types of love that appeal to me and give me the meaning of love. Firstly, I believe a parents' love for their child is the most selfless type of love. In the eyes of my parents, I will always be their child regardless of who I am. Their love for me is shown through their care, understanding, and limitless giving that I have received from the moment I first opened my eyes as a baby. They want nothing in return and expect nothing other than for me to be well. I do not need to do anything to maintain this love because I know they will always be there for me. However, I can not imagine my life without them. Since I was a child, every small act of care ranging from waking me up in the morning to cooking my meals is a love I've learned to appreciate over the years. This selflessness is what makes parents' love so beautiful, and something worth cherishing. Secondly, I believe the love a husband and wife have for one another is the most enduring kind of love. Love means having a companion that a person has to go through life's long journey with, not only in happiness but also in tough times. There will be a unique person who can light up my life. We will walk hand in hand, through the beaches and see the sunrise and sunset. As in the wedding vows, he will "love me, comfort me, and keep me, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to me, so long as we both shall live." For any challenges that may come to a person's life, a husband or wife will give the support and care that she or he will need.
