Stories have themes, plots, and character development with them. To where poems have rhyme and, rhythm and, lyrics. Poems express how a person feels to where a story does not also poems have meanings as well. Short stories are made up of the writer’s imagination. Wiesel wrote about how horrible it seemed to lose one’s innocence. He did not realize that he had lost some of his own as well. Like Wiesel, many other victims still feel troubled by the painful memories that follow them. Roman, one of the countless victims of the Nazis, wrote a short yet perceptive poem about her lingering reflections; the powerful calamities caught the reader by surprise.
