As long as a song has some meaning to me and I can relate to what is being said, I usually enjoy listening to them. Overall, there is something about country music that touches base with who I am (minus my dog died, my beer is empty and anything that says redneck in it). I feel country music is easy for me to relate to. My favorite country song is “Johnny and June” by Heidi Newfield.
The sound of upbeat music makes someone become more energetic while country music can give a happy feeling. All of these feelings are brought about by music. Entertainment from listening to old time radio favorites was often enjoyed by entire families. Family members gather when their favorite drama or series was being aired. That was and still is a perfect bonding time for the family.
I am involved in many activities in an out of school. I keep myself busy at school by participating in the H.O.P.E. Medical Academy, where They help me strive to my career and the future I dream to have, In Key Club, where I can give back to my community, I go to Teen Court, where I can restore peace and bring back justice to this world, and my favorite and I personally think is the most important, Marching band. Marching band is more that a group of people who play instruments, it’s a family. The bonds we create during the season last forever.

James Osborne also known as “Jimmie Osborne” was born in 1923 in Winchester, Kentucky. This famous "Kentucky Folk Singer," was a popular country singer who was readily organized for his work after war world two. Coming from a farm background, Osborne worked in defense plants, but also played music during weekends.According to Lambert (1996) , Osborne began to rise as he started to sing and play the guitar .In 1940, after graduating from school; he got married to Margaret Lacy, and shortly after worked in WLAP in Kentucky. In I946, Jimmie was known as a folk singer as he worked with the Bailes Brothers in Louisiana, and signed with King Records. He released his first hit “My Heart Echoes” with great success.
The concept on Secular Music Secular music…What’s wrong with listening to it? Some of us enjoy listening to Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, and Meek Mills. We love what they talk about and it’s just the fact that we can relate to what they are saying in the lyrics. Is that not okay? Christian music…Music that people only listen to on Sundays.
Music was an escape for Bruce, and he was inspired to pursue a career in music after seeing Elvis and the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. He taught himself to play the guitar, and when he was 16; his mother took out a loan to buy him a guitar for Christmas.
