Lifetime scary day Mango trees, crazy traffic, people screaming on top of their lungs, and sweat dripping from your head; that is my India to the outsiders, but to me its; my home, God’s own country, and the most beautiful dream to be in. India is the most popular country in the world. After the leading country china, it ranks second in the world for the population. The capital of the country is Delhi, but all the economy of the country is concentrated at Mumbai – where everything belongs. Talking about the literacy the schools in India is a lot different than the ones in America. In India the school district does not matter, one can go to any school in any district one wanted. In India children from small graders to sophomore year of high school go to one school and the junior and the seniors go to college, which is called junior college. It was my last year in the school and then I was going to transfer to the college. I was very happy and excited these days as I was going to graduate, but on 26th July 2006 the weather was bad. It wasn’t the usual bright sunny day as it used to be. The means of transport were different for different people. There were public transportations like trains, buses and personal vehicles, school buses etc. In India the weather does not matter because it’s always hot, so we never had the habit of checking the weather. Before the heavy rain started we left from school. When I was outside I could feel the lightness without touching the rain. By the time we were out, the afternoon batch students were in. In the meantime I decided to go to library to study for my test because I won’t get concentration when I get home. As time passed, heavy rain falls from the sky like a thousand hooves pounding against the ground.
