I do believe that technology has made our lives easier, but it also has made us more dependent on the technology itself. When using the internet for a dictionary you could easily get distracted. Anyone can put anything on the internet, so what you find might not be accurate. Most people find that looking things up on the internet is distracting because you are already on the web so why not check YouTube for a funny video, or update your status on the social network.

It can help bring out the design of the game and make it stronger. The concept of cultural competence within a video game is to make something within the game behave such as something in real life would, and define to the player the cultural differences between different groups of society throughout the world. Including cultural differences and objects within a game usually helps draw consumers toward the game because it is a sense of reality. During this time and age, most people like reality.
Personally I was in the console camp for many years, but have migrated over to PC gaming and enjoy it so much more. However there is more to this than gaming, PCs are better than consoles in many different areas. For many years I was a proponent for console gaming systems, they provided hours of entertainment, easy plug and play, and simple multiplayer connectivity. It was always fun to get some friends together, load up some multiplayer game, and play the night away. The costs involved were another factor in choosing a gaming console over a PC.
Though technology is used for productive reasons, it has become the prime hub of cyberspace’s social connection. Technology, no matter the size or form, has imposed itself into society’s daily ventures, causing it to be an addictive poison. Technology users need to find a way to limit them from overusing and apply different methods of connecting with others. Being able to socialize in person other than using technology, can not only enrich the community but also prevent the growth of social isolation, health issues, and remorseful habits. Now that technology is being used so abundantly, people are becoming socially isolated and disconnected from reality.
Perry’s “Video Games” speech is an incredible example of a successful speech. He used a variety of technological venues to capture and hold the audience attention. His use of power point was beyond incredible. The videos, music and images that were chosen for his presentation fit so well with the message he was conveying. Along with his vast array of knowledge, he used humor to keep the audience engaged and their attention at a peak level throughout the speech.
The core purpose of social bookmarking is clear: to be able to share, and bookmark content with others as well as share useful information without having to save it to a website, thus, having it readily available at any time and any place. Though social media is very popular amongst b2b firms, it seems that social bookmarking is just now taking off. Not many b2b firms currently use these websites, but there is definitely an uprising in the popularity of them amongst the b2b world. In fact, companies such as Microsoft and Intel are realizing the use of these sites and are finding ways to maximize it.
