Lifestyle of customers is another important factor affecting the consumer buying behavior. Lifestyle refers to the way a person lives in a society and is expressed by the things in his/her surroundings. It is determined by customer interests, opinions, activities and shapes his whole pattern of acting and interacting in the world. Lifestyle differs with every age group, opinions, attitudes and activities. As for me, my lifestyle would be different from my parents. Being a student, I spend most of my time at school rather than at home. I usually by products that were used at school like paper, pens, rubber shoes, bags, etc. I’m involved with social networking sites. More often, I go out with my friends. When at school, I prefer to eat at fast food chains or at canteen. Even worst, I skip meals when I’m busy with my school requirements. Often, I stay awake at night and sleep very late. A student like me has more interest on gadgets. I appreciate modern products and ways more. While as for my parents, they usually spend their time at home and work and they prefer traditional ways on many things. They are more inclined with politics. They prefer healthy foods. My parents often think of savings, budget, groceries and products that will serve for the whole family. They are more concern about physiological and safety needs of the whole family. There are also differences from my parents in terms of my attitudes toward the product. As at younger age, I prefer products that goes with the newest trends while my parents would buy items that would be useful at home and for all family members without considering if that product was on the newest trend or not. They are more concern with utilities and medicines. On the other hand, me and my parents has also have similar attitude toward the product.
