After selling everything for motocross made me think “is this the last time I will ever ride”. I had been wrong, I came home from school one day and saw a Kawasaki KX 250F in my garage; I instantly thanked my parents. They must have gotten the hint that I wanted to ride again and to race. I immediately loaded it up into my truck and took it out to a local motocross track. When I arrived it felt as if I were home.
Hockey has been nothing but good for me and I am so thankful that I was given the oppurtunity to play. I've met some people that have completely changed my life for the better and I've traveled to some awesome places that I would’ve never been to if it wasn’t for this fantastic sport. Ever since my first few strides on the ice, I knew that this is what I would want to play for the rest of my life. In just 10 years, I have won some awards and done some things that most kids that have played this sport will never be able to say they've done. From tournament MVP'S in youth hockey, to Section III High School Hockey 2nd team all-star awards representing PHS all by myself.
She was my first best friend; I was so upset when she had to move. I joined a soccer team for the first time and realized it would be what I stuck with for years and then join the school team in high school. In middle school when a close friend, Daniel Dixon, passed away from a fatal car accident I thought I would never be the same. When I got put into the accelerated classes which would change my life forever because it would be put on my transcript and would allow me the chance to get into the very best schools in the state; when this happened Brandy Hamiter and Savannah Martoi became my best friends. Then in High School, a big group of people spent their whole week trying to beat the seniors at most school spirit.
Have you ever had to learn the hard way? I’ve learned the hard way many times, but the hot summer of 2012 I really did learn the hard way! My parents finally gained trust in me driving and decided it was time to get me a car. I got my car at the end of my freshman year but couldn’t drive it until my sophomore year. My parents got me the car I have always wanted; a maroon mustang with black rims and blacked out lights.
It seemed like it took us forever to drive from Savannah, Tennessee to Orlando, Florida. When we got there, it was worth the fifteen hour drive. It was my first time on an airplane, and traveling with so many people was a different experience for me, one that changed my life. When we took off out of Orlando, Florida, there were
“Borrowing” Golf Carts My friend Sebastian owns a house near a golf club at Valle de Bravo, he invited four of my friends to his house, and he had the courtesy to invite me only one day to his weekend house. Waking up at 10:00, in holydays, is not usual however if I wanted to go to Sebastian’s house, I needed to wake up early and get dressed to go the soon as possible. I arrived at his house and they where waiting for me at the entrance. “Hello!”, Sebastian’s mom said, I respond the same to her but Sebastian quickly grabbed me to play. Sebastian’s house had a large lawn area and a big jacuzzi by the side; the most comfortable detail is that the eleventh hole is in the best views of the dwelling.
My Senses Amazed Me in My Race Car I have had a lot of memorable experiences in my life so far, although none quite as memorable as the one I had shortly after I turned 19 years old. Driving a race car at 169 miles per hour at Talladega Speedway was one of the most exciting experiences of my life that attacked all of my senses to an extreme that I will never forget. The experience I had that day was an assault on every sense in my body. Although it was a quick drive and only a few laps around the track with few other cars, it was something totally new for me that I thought I would never get the chance to do. It will truly stay with me for the rest of my life.
DRIVING WITHOUT LICENSE Everyone must have done something crazy in their early lives. I am one of them, too. When I was 16 years old, I thought that I was perfect driver, but I did not have a driver license to drive a car. However, when I thought like that I had never considered that thanks to this idea, I would have an experience which changes all my thoughts. It was a beautiful spring afternoon.
Would I get a traffic ticket if the police arrive? How could I explain to my family about this event? Those were all I thought about when I just got a silly accident. I was so nervous and anxious so that I couldn’t think of any solution for the problem I had made. It was a Thursday afternoon just about 4 months ago.
For a fifteen-year-old student who has never gone abroad, it was tough but I think it was a big turning point that have changed me to become who I am now. Lot of things happened in only that one year, whether joy and happiness, or tears and hard time. Within that, the most critical incident I would never forget is when I had a fight with my host sister. In my Italian host family,
