Ethical formalism that is a deontological system because its determinant is motive or intent and not consequence. This is the system that the cops chose because they believed their motive was in fact good and they weren’t worried about getting caught. All the police officers where worried about in this situation was getting drugs off the street and taking off some of the pressure they were being put under by society. I believe that if Detective Griffiths would have not gotten shot and killed and this was a normal raid and drug but this situation never blows up like it did. It was a very unfortunate accident where everything that could go wrong went wrong and it ended up with a dead officer and a criminal that got to walk away with no punishment at all.
Injustice is basically when somebody has been wronged and when adding collector is when somebody has been wronged many times over their life. Society in my opinion cannot protect themselves against these types of people because we have no way of knowing who they are. For all we know our teachers or best friend could be just like Cho, but we will never know until they lash out. The only possible way would to mandate a law requiring everybody to never wrong anybody in the world, which as we all know could not be
This was for their self- interest and gain, but also to not be turned in when the cops are looking for them. Hobbes believes in the end we are all created equal so we have the right to anything necessary for survival. The people from the City of God were absent of true authority and because of limited resources they entered a state of war. Absence of authority lead to mass violence, drugs and overall extreme living conditions for anyone stuck living there. Once the tender trio were eventually almost all hunted down and killed a new generation came to power.
Absence of Hammurabi’s Code * Without the Hammurabi code, people will be able to do whatever that they want and won’t get fined for it. * Also according to Hammurabi if someone were to get hit by someone above them all they had to do was pay them and without that people would go around and just hitting people for no reason. * Also if someone were to break into someone’s house they won’t have to be buried in the hole that they made and they can just get anything that they want and get away with it. * The eye for and eye won’t exist, people will just have to go around and chopping off people arms or eyes. Without this people will go around and be crazy.
Human beings are capable of doing terrible things to each other. But that is the point, they are human beings. Not animals. I don’t know of anyone that can be isolated all day every day, and not want to explode or crack under that kind of pressure. The people in solitary confinement don’t deserve to be treated like a dog.
The overarching point here is that none of the "underdogs" know their own strength. Just as Dr. King and others in the Civil Rights movement pointed out, one day the people will "rise up" and defeat the oppressors. No one really likes Curley, not even his own wife. The working man has the power, but without coherence in revolution, the masses are doomed to failure, just as Lennie, George and
Nobody in Olympus knew who the thief was but they all knew that if this continued that it would break out in war, and that would not be very pretty, but they also knew that none of them, the other ten Olympians could touch the trident or any of the other symbols of power unless it was their own, they would have to get a human to do it or a half-blood. Not knowing who to get they sent out a satyr to find one. When he returned he brought back a half-blood,
They live in a life of unstructured hierarchy in the sense that no one in the Gilmore family has total power to control the actions of those committing crimes, which helps us understand why the Gilmore brothers and even the father choose to be living a forbidden life. Mikal’s family truly has no process of exercising authority in the sense that even the father is joining gangs and being part of all the dirty work. This helps us understand that governance in the Gilmore family shall never exist as long as a father figure is committing crimes as well, which sets an example for the
Since this is a tyrannical government, the citizens have no choice but to go outside. This backfired for the government because Montag created chaos and was never caught! In Farenheit 451, books
Change There has been racism going on since the world began. There is no human being on earth that could do something to be able to stop the racism. We can’t change people opinions about other people or other nations. All they can do is make the racism more unnoticeable. It is not easy to make a change in the world.
