Dear wife, It has been a really long time since I have seen you and my kids. Here on this new land that we found all the Indians are nice and they give use food. The Indians teach us how to farm corn and we traded copper for corn so that we could eat when we get home. All the other people in Jamestown would not help build and so we had no safety and we where wide open to the Indians. One day are leader maid up his mind an was going to look for food.
