I would have been there with them but I had gone out to look for some food for us to eat. I came back after just an hour of being out and saw everything in flames and I knew they were gone, but the only one of them that I could find was Kyle. His head was shattered and there was blood everywhere. He was strewn right over my bag and I will now never be able to get that image out of my head. His blood has stained all of my belongings including the rest of the stationary that I own.
ahari Running Head: KALAHARI2 In the article “Eating Christmas in the Kalahri” by Richard Borshay Lee, he tells about what he learned living with the !Kung Bushmen for three years. Richard Borshay Lee is a social anthropologist who missed a great life lesson while studying this hunting-and-gathering society. In this Gemeinschaft community, they worked together to teach this anthropologist something important to their people yet he was very unaware of their intentions in the beginning. Although he thought he had learned a great deal about their group and culture, he was still only beginning to learn truly what it meant to be a part of their society. In conclusion, the Armenia Genocide was a disastrous time in history. Millions of people lost their lives for selfish reasons that could have possibly been handled differently. Although, I was not there as an eyewitness to what happened during this time, I, myself, believe that the Young Turks, brutally and ruthlessly committed genocide. According to how the United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide defines genocide and statements for Grigoris Balakian’s account, the Ottoman government’s actions against its Armenian subjects in 1915 and 1916 did constitute
The government or other organization that are concerned should and need to develop new set of policies that don’t subsidize over production and over eating. Pollan argues that corn is being used as substitutes for all other foods. This is why foods at fast-food outlets are cheap, because they are already paid for. “Farmers in the United States have managed to produce 500 additional calories per person every day” (Pollan-20th Paragraph) Pollan gives out a tone between formal and informal towards his audience. With historical references mixed with a conversational tone.
Summary I got in the lift, a homeless person (DeVon Hardy) also got in with me. When I got my story I go out and everyone was staring me, I realized the homeless was pointing me with a gun. He ordained me to tie everybody and I did it. He ordered some soup and bread, next he was complaining about the economic differences that are in the society. How people like them, earn thousands dollars each year and people as him haven't got any to eat.
