Answer to question 3: What is the plot of the story? In the story we hear about a construction worker called Wolfe. He starts working in the country where, he came to like being, after he see the women called Mary Lovell. She has a lot of trouble with her husband. They are verbally fighting a lot. And one day at their back lawn the man hits the women in the face. The main character, Wolfe, saw the man hitting the women. Some days after the man hitting the women he was missing. There was a lot of police in and out of the woman’s house, but she was not convicted at first. Later on Mary and Wolfe started seeing each other. And they were together for three years before they got bored from each other and they started fighting. One day when Wolfe was told to go down to the garden to dig down their Christmas tree, he found a bone under the snow and a few feet down in the dirt. Mary got arrested, and Wolfe got the house, and kept on working as a construction worker. But in the end, we get a little bit of a clue about whether he is the killer or not.
