Lebanon was ranked 4th for the best country with the best quality of math and science education. It was also ranked the 10th best overall quality of education and that's very impressive since Lebanon is the only underdeveloped country to make the list. Even though the education system in Lebanon has its positives, it normally puts students in high school under so much pressure. Lebanese high schools don't care much about a students athletic and artistic side. On one level it helps students to focus and put all their energy on school work but on the other hand, it makes their brain so narrow that they never know what's going on worldwide and never get the chance to expand their inner talents. Lebanese education system follows the English-American and French systems and that doesn't prepare their students when faced with societal challenges. The classrooms are usually very strict and teacher-oriented; no attention is given to students who need to learn at their own pace. Religion and language is very important in Lebanon and creates a huge gap between the less and more educated. People in Lebanon usually mix English, French and Arabic while speaking because of the emphasis on foreign language from a very young age. Moreover, the number one stress causer for students and their families is the official public exams. These exams rape students' memorization skills because thats all they rely on. The students that fail and dropout of high school are the ones that don't have a good memorization technique. Teachers train their students from a very young age to memorize, they train them for these exams because if they don't pass them they can't graduate and all their work would go to waste. Furthermore, public schools are usually crowded having high teacher-student ratios and admission to private schools becomes more impossible and harder every year. The result is that
