INTRODUCTION LEARNING IS THE LIFELONG PROCESS OF TRANSFORMING AND EXPERINCE INTO KNOWLWDGE, SKILLS, BEHAVIORS, AND ATTITUDES. (Cobb, Jeff.2009) a. Definition: New Dimension in Grasp Knowledge In the modern world today, education, knowledge and information can be gained seconds from the internet, information technology at our finger tips. It (the information) can be come from at the front of your floor step or may be it comes from the other side of the world. Online learning involve a wide range of methods and applications and put the students to develop and grooming their traditional way of study into the new dimension learning environment. There may be other definitions, but Derek Stockley define e-learning (also called e-learning or eLearning) as: The delivery of a learning, training or education program by electronic means. E-learning involves the use of a computer or electronic device (e.g. a mobile phone) in some way to provide training, educational or learning material. (Derek Stockley 2003). What should I say about the definition is: Online learners is where a student put themselves in the learning situation for a formal recognition (such as Diploma, Degree, Master, PhD) by using electronic device to gain the information and education without going to the campus (or the institute) frequently (or full-time). In short, it is: student ≫ learning ≫ using electronic device ≫ out-campus. b. Problems faced by online students i. No more teachers In the world of adults learning, especially part-timers in Open University Malaysia (OUM), there will be no more teachers teaching in the class room. The situations are much more different from the primary schools and secondary schools that we had been before. Previously, to be a good student, they have to attend lecture in actual mean, books in the library, journals and articles in files. In short, OUM
