Leadership Training Day Essay When it comes to my finances, I believe and envision that I will be prosperous. When it comes to my intelligence, I believe that striving to obtain perfect information in every aspect of decisions that affect my life is essential. This information was derived from the workbook that accompanied the Leadership Training Day Video. I also was able to distinguish and narrow down several gifts of which I am most excited to give to others. Among these gifts are: organize things, do the numbers, solve problems, process things and analyze information. Knowledge is power (Martin), and I shall strive to obtain and capture it. Having listened to Gary Tuerack, the president of the National Society of Leadership and Success, I have come to realize that I do not have a clearly defined written down goal of what I am going to achieve after I graduate. If three percent of the graduating class at Yale University defined their goals and with that came more success, than I can only hope that I follow in that path(Tuerack). I am willing to put in the time and effort necessary in order to do something that I love; therefore, I hope to gain leadership qualities and establish the foundation that will help to make me successful through my learning experience from the National Society of Leadership and Success. Pursuing my interests and doing what I love is the first quality I would need to possess in order to become successful in life. What enables me to achieve the pursuit of my interests is the second quality I aspire to obtain; to have a vision. In the words of Arnold Swarchenegger, “I have a vision of how I am going to be; I am going to fill my body into that vision.” The power of vision is blocked and filtered through the lenses in which we view the world (Tuerack).
