Leadership is an art of moving people in a certain direction which is very difficult to explain, interpret or for that matter follow by an individual. Leadership can be displayed by any individual who has vision, charisma, emotional maturity and strong oratory and communication skills. It is very important for a leader to show directions and guide the rest of the people with this sterling character and great dialogue delivery.
Following a leader is not a way to develop your leadership qualities; it can come from anyone who is able to show occasional influence in complex situations. If we consider business then leaders must be able to direct their team which would eventually lead to success and prosperity, this is where a leader can exhibit his vision which is considered so important for leadership.
After analyzing the assessment I belong to the style ‘ESTJ’ which indicates that I am a linear learner with a strong need for a structure, always inquisitive and asking questions which would benefit the tasks and I am assigned to do. Given a preference I would always like hands on experience on projects and assignments which would add value and productivity to the kind of work I will be doing. The assessment shows that I am a team player and likes to work in group projects, class reports, practical tests and a strong preference to the audio visual way of learning things. The key aspects that I would like to highlight out of my leadership assessment is that I prefer to focus on current activities rather than having an insight into the future activities which might be a good thing but I personally feel that one should always think that one should always delve into the future and plan your actions which would benefit your further decisions. As such I am not a creative person so sometimes I do get frustrated when people go very deep in a particular aspect of a thing even though there are satisfactory results which are being displayed.
