Lab Report Introduction This report is about the surviving. We use different methods including knife, fork, spoon, hand, clothespin and forceps to grab the different beans such as split pea kidney bean large white bean, black bean, pinto bean, small white bean and red bean as many as we can. This experiment determines which method can get most beans in order to know who can survive from this experiment. As my point, my hypotheses is that hand as predator and small beans as prey will survive from this experiment because small beans is too small to grab into the cup and hand is most convenient and shortcut way to grab the beans. Material and Methods We separate this experiment in three generation. Each predator has three people to play. In each generation, we survive seven predators and eliminate others. We record the survivors for prey also. In next generation, we double the survivor as predators and prey. Results In first generation, I played as a spoon predator. We only have five seconds to grab beans as many as we can. At this round, only two forks, two spoons and three hands survive as predator. Split pea, black bean and small white bean survive as prey. In second generation, I played as a fork. This time only survivors could continue this game and we double the number of predator survivor. We played in the same rule but this time five hands and two forks survive as predator. Split pea, black bean and small white bean still survive as prey. In last generation, only one fork and seven hands survive. Split pea, black bean and small white bean still survive as prey. List a graph for predator data and prey data.
