Do you believe you can change the government for the better? Just wait until the next elections in the United States. There are political parties with ideas, who believe they can. Political parties are defined as an organized group of people with the same political aims and opinions, who seeks to change the public policy by having their candidates elected to the public office. The media ,Political Parties, Voters, and the Electoral Process are all connected, the next president of the United States will face a more difficult economic and fiscal situation than any President in recent memory. While some citizens would prefer that governmental leaders implement spending cuts while others would favor an increase in revenue, as a practical matter the country’s precarious financial situation cannot be addressed exclusively by just one of these options.
This is criticised because the current political party in power have the ability to make their own decisions for the UK before listening to what the people want. This then becomes a problem because they may make changes that the majority of the population will not agree with. However, near to the next election they may decide to listen to people as they want them to vote for them (the current political party in power) during the next election. Secondly, the UK has a hereditary monarchy and a house of lords, both which are not elected. This contradicts a democratic society and is seen as a dictatorship because elections are the cornerstone of a democracy.
Another limitation referring to the source could be the media becoming very hostile. They could portray the Prime Minister as a very weak and unworthy character which could affect his personal image, but also the image of the party they lead. 2b) With reference to the source, and your own knowledge, explain the Prime Minister’s prerogative powers (10). The prerogative powers that the Prime Minister enjoys are the extensive arbitrary powers that they enjoy. These powers were first exercised by the monarch but they are now exercised by the prime minister.
If Congress has term limits in place, their power will also be limited. Candidates will be more likely to run for the purpose of serving the people, and they would have to leave office before corruption dominates their decisions. The representatives could focus on actually doing their jobs, rather than simply passing legislation to get them re-elected and make them look good. The term limits would also allow for a greater degree of representation if the House were capped at 2 terms, or 4 years and the Senate at 1 term, or 6 years. I feel that that is sufficient time to get familiar with how Washington works and to become acquainted with the legislation.
To increase their taxes would be appropriate and this would be stream lining taxes at a time when the economy needs a boost. The Keynesian economists would look at government spending as a means for the government to stop the little growth the economy has had and is to have. The government spending would make it so the people would not have the money to spend within the states and they would have to go without needs and desires. This in turn would be the money that could be used within the economy.

The New World Times How will the constitution affect the presidential elections? In terms of this, the constitution will affect the elections because the federalists and the anti-federalists will oppose to vote for the right representative but because that the representative comes from that class…… the classes will only vote for their representative. This attempt will trouble the nation with election issues and pretty soon… the constitution will be abandoned set America for a monarchy. Editor’s opinion In my opinion the U.S constitution provided more detailed political laws that was able to help out the economy itself to prevent form having a dictatorship. However the constitution first needed to be discussed before being passed out
The film 21 also shows the influence of power and corruption on the American Dream. It also shows a further insight on money’s influence on this and how it affects a person. The more power and affluence a person has, the more self-centred they become. “There’s no way I can lose this time, ” A self directed quote by Ben, further enforces the notion that arrogance stems from the gain of power. It is this arrogance that eventually leads to losses.
No matter what one’s ideology is, some will blame a chamber of Congress, the other will blame the White House. It is clear that both used the proletariat masses as hostages to make the other side to capitulate because of their unnecessary suffering because of their willingness to throw a wrench in the cogs of the federal Government. In this day and age, partisan politics is just as much as a societal scourge as racism, sexism and other types of prejudicial strife. It is seemingly that the Founding Fathers intended to use a form of conflict theory that would keep American society in check. What has been called, “Checks and Balances” is indeed a form of conflict theory.
But in a time where there is much more vocal opposition and cries of justice by the people of this country it is but ever so prudent to fathom that untimely the people fed up with this system will turn this country into one that directs itself under the direct democracy system. Now if I was more of a politically correct person this might actually work out. But a direct democracy system is more over like the one that operates as of right now in this economy. What can be more democratic than being able to elect your leaders through public note? That would be one side of the question.
