John Wayne Gacy, Jr. was born in Chicago, Illinois, the second of three children. He was born on March 17, 1942 ("John Wayne Gacy | Murderpedia, the encyclopedia of murderers"). His father was an alcoholic and use to abuse him and call him out his name ("John Wayne Gacy | Murderpedia, the encyclopedia of murderers"). Gacy’s father would call him “sissy.” ("John Wayne Gacy | Murderpedia, the encyclopedia of murderers"). His mother on the other hand was a good mother ("John Wayne Gacy | Murderpedia, the encyclopedia of murderers"). She and Gacy had a good relationship along with the sisters ("John Wayne Gacy | Murderpedia, the encyclopedia of murderers").
