The coming of Jesus Christ brings hope and salvation to the mankind. That’s what we believe as Christians. Jesus is our saviour that He died in the cross to pay the debt He didn’t owe so that we will be saved from the debt we couldn’t pay. It can’t be denied that Jesus Christ had a great impact in our lives. He served as a role model on how to live life here on earth, preaching the good news and glorifying God’s unconditional love and goodness. As a teacher, I looked up on Him as a guide and inspiration. He showed humility, holiness, purity, righteousness, mercy, unselfish love, peace, endurance in time of persecution, simplicity and other eminent virtues during His time here on earth. He had so many good teachings that brings light and wisdom to the people, and that’s what I want myself to be. I want to make my students see themselves in the best possible light. Jesus had changed and formed ourselves into better individuals through His wise teachings and insightful parables. Using parables as a method of teaching is no doubt effective. His parables had struck us straight to our hearts and have made us see the great beauty and splendour of God’s love for us. We could relate in His parables and make us realize our faults and wrong doings, thus making us repent on our sins and drawing us closer to God. Jesus’ parables and methods of teachings inspired and motivated me as a teacher. He is an epitome of love and humility. Just remembering Christ’s endeavours as a teacher gives me courage to work hard to make a change and touch the lives of my students. Jesus’ examples made me passionate and eager to become a great teacher. As John 14:12 states, “I will tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.
