Jesus is a hero. Jesus is the son of God. He is God Almighty. Jesus is the image of the Invisible God. He lived in Bethlehem all his life and had a very miraculous birth. He was born before 4 B.C. and lived for thirty three years. Jesus was born in Bethlehem to a descendent of King David. Starting from a very young age he was a very curious child and spent a lot of time in the house of his Father asking many questions. As Jesus grew, he became mature, increasing with wisdom and in favor with God and man. Jesus is a hero because he died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins so that we could be sinless in the eyes of God. Jesus is the only way for us to live a plentiful life here on earth, or receive eternal life in fellowship of God. Jesus meets at least eleven steps of a hero’s journey. He had miraculous events attending the birth. The night Jesus was born an angel of the Lord spoke to the shepherds and said, “Don’t be afraid: for I bring good news of great joy, for all people. Today a Savior was born for you which is Christ the Lord.” There is little info about Jesus’s childhood that anyone knows. While growing up he always wanted to be in his Fathers house and was very mature and held lots of wisdom. When he was around thirty years of age a man named John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the Jordan river, after he was baptized the heavens opened to Him and He saw the spirit of God. Jesus often preached to His fellow people that believed in him. He told them that if they continued to live like he told them to then they are indeed His disciples. He said that he was the door; if any man went to God through Him they will be saved. He claimed to be the Good Shepherd and the Good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep. Jesus had the ability to heal his community and his disciples’ problems. Those suffering from different kinds of diseases were brought to Him,
