As we know, each country always completely has its own specific things that tell or show that its nation is unique. It contains of customs, tradition, and culture. Actually, culture is the most essential key that can let not only the native but visitors also know how important it is. Well, Japan, is known as the country flushing of the respect of culture, so when people reach Japan, they generally need to understand the main six types of its traditional culture which is consisted of greeting, clothing, festival, wedding, Geisha, and food as well in order to be accustomed with this culture. First of all, greeting is one of the main protocols of Japanese culture. Actually, they generally divide it into three main parts: bowing, verbal respect, and traditional respect¬—shoes taking off. As the matter fact, bowing is one of the key points of showing great respect. It classifies into three types as well such as “Saikerei or 15˚ bowing” —refers to the first meeting, “Keirei or 30˚ bowing” —refers to the respect to the elderly, and “Eshaku or 45˚ bowing” which aims at the sincere apology or the great respect to the majesty. Meanwhile, verbal form is also important for people to know. If they use it wrong, they will be regarded as the rude. Well, Japanese people always use “suffix” to add in order to show their respect to someone. For example, the word “San”, they use it when the speakers say to the elderly, whereas the word “Chan” uses for the same age or the younger. Last, when people visit many places in Japan, they must take off their shoes and find appropriate places to place it in order to show respect and especially keep the room tidy. Second, Japanese are very respectful of their traditional clothes called “Kimono”. “Kimono” is from the combination of the words “Ki and Mono”: Ki means “wear” and Mono means “things”.
