Japanese culture Japan is an ancient Asian country, but it was born a little later, in comparison with China or the Arab countries. In itself it has absorbed all of the neighboring cultures, but has mostly borrowed from China. The very culture of the country lined up more on the principles and teachings of Buddhism. Traditions characteristic for Japan has helped preserve many customs of other countries in which they are already lost. In the Japanese temples there can be clearly seen merging of different cultures. Despite the fact that Japan borrowed many traditions, this country is special and unique. Japan’s consistency, courtesy, its spirituality and many other features distinguish it among all countries of the Asian world. The number of traditions and rituals which are mandatory or recommended to comply with is great. Virtually all areas of life are imbued with the traditions and a great deal of ceremonies, especially noticeable in communication between people in public life. The Japanese carefully and lovingly treat nature, admire the natural beauty of the landscape, weather, colors, or the sea. Numerous ceremonies of contemplation of flowering trees, the full moon or the autumn colors are an integral part of society. If further speak about safety in Japan, one should not worry about it. Exceptional courtesy and good manners of local people will never allow treating bad another person. One can safely go to the twenty-four-hour supermarket, if he or she wants to buy something. One can forget a bag or other thing on a park bench during the walk – then one goes back there the next day and find it in the same place. Japan is a wonderful country. In shops, cafes, restaurants, and offices there are always very friendly staff. The Japanese generally speak English well and not necessarily in the center of a large city, but even in the suburbs,
