Section 1 1- Adjectives describing scrooge- Pusillanimous, nonchalant, Sinner, Mean and miserly, Selfish, not liked, unpopular. - Jacob Marley was Scrooge's old business partner 2- they’re both selfish,greedy,and cheap also work in da same business 3- Marley arrives in the beginning of the book as a warning not only that three spirits will be visiting Scrooge but because he cares about Scrooge and doesn't want him to have to suffer the same fate as he is. Marley explains to Scrooge that his chain is twice as long as Marley's chain is already and warns him of what his life as a spirit would be like. 4- . He will live in the past, the present, and the future, and that the spirits of all three shall be within them. He will not ignore the lessons that they teach. Section 5 1- Scrooge becomes kind hearted and happy. He buys the biggest turkey in the butcher shop, makes a VERY generous donation to the charity he previously turned away and spends Christmas Day with Fred and his wife. The next day, Bob arrives at work late. Scrooge pretends to be his usual miserable self. He eventually reveals to Bob that he is joking, and helps his family a great deal and also tells him that his going to raise his salary. He becomes almost a second father to Tiny Tim and is known throughout London as a kind and loving man who is the personification of the spirit of Christmas. 2- Well, after he's become a changed man he remembers seeing Marley's face in the door knocker. What previously had frightened him now brings him joy because it is because of Marley that he was able to make himself a better person. 3- Fred and Bob Cratchitt think that he has gone mad but they seem quite happy and welcome him with warm
