In the book What Great Teachers Do Differently, Todd Whitaker chronicles things that great teachers do. By adopting many of the practices in the book, a new teacher can be well on their way to becoming a great teacher. High expectations, creating a climate of caring, decision making, and learning to ignore things are just a few of the things that great teachers do. Great teachers have high expectations not just for their students, but also for themselves. The expectations a teacher places on his or herself are directly related to those placed on their students.
Abraham Lincoln once said “Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.” I have been haunted by similar words, in my own head, for quite some time. I never finished college, yet I love to learn. I have always dreamed of completing a degree, owning a company, or working in an office. Now, given the opportunity, completing this degree will become my greatest achievement. I always feel that I have let myself down.
I am a natural leader of people. When in doubt, I will not hesitate to get advice because failure is not an option to me. Some of the challenges that I will be faced with will be how to juggle a full time job, family and schooling. The reason for going back to school is not only to further my education for future work but also to be more proficient in assisting my children with their schoolwork. Technology has progressed to a point where I feel that I need do something to help me keep pace with the changing world.
Summary Response Amadeo Constanzo is the author of “Do You Really Think You Are a Good Writer?” and he believes that if you are in a remedial class English then “instead of wasting time and energy on negative thoughts, use the energy and time to improve your writing” or other skills. Constanzo supports remedial classes because even the best athletes train to be better just like a writer practices to become a better writer. I very much agree with Constanzo because the majors I currently have would eventually deal a lot with presentation documents. I’m a father of two awesome sons name Cameron and Jonathon, and I have a beautiful step-daughter name Kristen. My wife is also going back to school to get her degree in education. I have been thinking a long time about going back to school and I felt that it was time to do it. I want to better my life for my kids and show them that an education is very important. I had a lot of dead end jobs that lead nowhere and felt that I should go back to school and get my degree.
Jenny Graves: I love being able to help the younger generations learn and to guide them to be the very best they can be in life. After all they are our future and without us to guide them then the future does not look too promising. Cynthia Moore: What made you choose a career in early childhood education? Jenny Graves: The lack of dedication among the teacher’s I had growing up. To them it was just another job and I wanted more for those learning.

It has been proven that employers value the discipline and level of education that potential employees bring to the table. I believe that employers are more apt to hire those who have invested time and money into something they’re committed to. Being awarded a degree speaks volumes of someone’s discipline and dedication. It’s a good indication that the employee will hold the same values in their business.
It is not hard to write about my interest in the radiology program at WVNCC, “I want to help others”. Throughout my life I was always fascinated by the medical field, the combination of human compassion with knowledge and technology intrigues me. I was not certain what I wanted to do in the medical field, until recently. With the pregnancy of my daughter, my interest started with sonography, OB possibly? But after starting the cardiac system in anatomy class I was hooked.
These schools are both good academic schools and they are known throughout the country. I will focus on my studies more than anything with just one goal in my mind. The main goal will be graduation. We are human and I know there will be many obstacles and there will be times where I may want to give up. But you have to be mentally strong to achieve your goals in this life.
My eleventh grade year was also a disaster because of the struggle of passing my biology state test and I was really distracted and just wanted to go back to the alternative school but my mom and the principle would not send me back. My senior year I transferred to Christ Missionary and Industrial high school (college) the year flew by but I really enjoyed myself there. Now I am still here at CM&I , I supposed to be a summer graduate if everything goes as planned. Once I finish high school I plan on signing up for the air
