Pregnancy is a part of life that can change people’s course in many ways. Some parents find themselves raising children by themselves, and some stuck in relationships they don’t want or have to make the tough decision on whether or not to have their child. Each chooses in some way what paths to take and each has a different outcome, each will change their lives in many ways. Parenting can make people stronger, more sensitive to others or maybe make changes in jobs and free time a child is a lifelong experience that has its own cross roads and life decisions. Accidents happen to everyone but they can have long lasting effects.
The finger starts to bleed and her mother says it is bad luck, Esperanza starts worrying. F. Her father is not home yet and begins to think something bad has happened. G. She goes inside the house to talk with Mama, Abuelita (grandmother), Hortensia (maid) and Miguel (her servant). H. They all hear someone coming from outside and Alfonso, who is friends with Esperanza’s dad looks down with a grieving face. I. Esperanza sees that her father’s lifeless body in the wagon and was killed by the bandits.
When she arrives back at the caravan she lives in with her dad, he is incredibly shocked to hear his daughter begging him to let her keep a skinny, stinky, ugly stray, and he says a firm no. Finally, Opal manages to persuade her father, who is a preacher, to keep the dog. One night, there is a thunderstorm during which Opal and her father discover that Winn-Dixie has a terrible fear of storms. During the summer holidays, Opal and her dog spend a lot of time at the tiny library near her home. Opal doesn't have many friends.
Edward makes a good impression and even falls in love with Peg's high school daughter Kim, but after a robbery with a framed Edward as the culprit, things in his life begin to go downhill. David and Edward have similar qualities in their personalities; in the way they address their challenges and social life. Through their curiosity to learn and understand they cope with the challenges in which they face. Each text shows different challenges, different ways to cope with their challenges but both bring the character to discover truth, and become wiser, stronger people. The texts uses different techniques to show emotion and the difficulty in faces these challenges, but each teach the same lesson of getting through their challenges, to go on with life, and learn from past
War is inevitable, there will always be conflicts among people, countries and leaders. War affects children in all the ways it affects adults, but also in different ways. Children are dependent on their parents for care, food, water and shelter. War adversely affects the lives of the children when they lose their parents to the war, lack of opportunity for an education and the possibility of living in a refuge. Children are exposed to situations of terror and horror during wars, such experiences that may leave traumatic impacts upon the children.
Divorce “ Teenagers in Trouble” Stress is basically defined as an applied force to strain a body; a mentally or emotionally upsetting condition occurring in response to adverse external influences and capable of affecting physical health. Teenagers now days have had a lot of stress because of a lot of different reasons. However, the main things in my opinion that cause stress for teenagers are peer pressure and more importantly family problems(for example: divorce). Such stresses put teenagers in problems where they make life decisions that can be very risky. Many books were interesting regarding child stress but particularly “The Romance of Risk” by Dr. proton was very amazing.

If one is fortunate enough, their parents might choose to support their decision; yet, most teenagers suffer from the unfortunate event in which their parents feel the need to take control and lead their lives in another direction. The short story “Brother Dear,” is told from the perspective of a young girl named Sharlene. Her brother, Greg, is a university student visiting home. He has always had a different perspective from his father, which eventually caused them to developed issues with one another. This time around however, Greg has come back home to take a stand for his passions and beliefs once and for all.
He voices his opinion on how high school was, how high school is now, and how it could make or break your next four years from all the upsets, hardships and bullying. Fifty years ago, things were way different than how they are today. Kids had to go to school and were respectful to their peers or they would get in a huge amount of trouble, kids were expected to help their parents around the house or does some yard work outside. Nowadays kids do nothing and expect so much in return. If they do not get what they want when they want it, usually they will pitch a fit or they will not speak to their parents and the end result of that situation is the kid ends up getting it.
