Effective communication is a necessary skill. Whether suggesting a “Biggie Sized” fast food order, reviewing a patient's different treatment options or coaching a student, effective communication is necessary. Effective communication is utilizing ethos, logos and pathos masterfully. Salespeople must utilize ethos, logos and pathos during each customer interaction. As an automotive salesperson ethos, or credibility, is absolutely necessary.
Technology is a leading role in effective business practices. As technology changes so rapidly, managers must have the capability to adapt to the change and make the necessary decision to maintain success. My friends shop has to constantly keep up to date with the latest changes in the automotive industry. They must do this in order to stay ahead of their competitors and be able to effectively diagnose and repair vehicles in a timely fashion. Innovations in the automotive industry also drive customers to bring their vehicles in to be worked on by automotive shops rather than working on them themselves.

Eating at a fast food restaurant is inexpensive, fast, and convenient for many Americans. However, people have preferences, including this writer, for which McDonald’s is better than In-N-Out. Although In-N-Out restaurant Although In-N-Out offers "Quality you can taste", McDonald's restaurant has progressively has improved the quality of their product and its nutritional value making it the better fast food restaurant. Currently McDonald’s offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an extensive menu. In-N-Out only offers lunch and dinner with a limited menu.

During my visit to the Cracker Barrel I experience a historical atmosphere, the food was exceptional, the best of service, and although normally very busy, especially at prime season, it does not take long to get a table.
