Is Not the Source Essay

The Bible is not the source of the knowledge of God First bringing down the arguments: This is in response to my note on what the Word of God says about the Word of God. “Few points and claims he makes that opens up the door for mere "spiritualism" like this quote "When you are listening to God, He is always in control of your transformation, and nothing you learn will produce pride. Why? Because everything you know was given to you by revelation. There is no pride in it because you did not do anything to get it." This is indeed a biblical assertion. Paul made this same assertion: 1Co 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. 7 ¶ For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? Knowledge puffs up, but when everything has been given to us by God, we see it not as the knowledge that puffs up, but as divine revelation from which we can claim no praise. “Who determines whether what you have received is from God? LOL this kind of teaching sets people up to receive whatever people are saying. As long as they say the Lord told them so. “ There are only two ways to learn. Either God teaches us or we teach ourselves. The only way that one can learn from God is by listening to the HS. This man obviously does not trust God to lead him into ALL truth, as the Bible says. Anyone who holds to this belief is actually trusting themselves as they are the one who is reading, studying, and teaching. There is no need to trust in God by faith, as they do not believe that God can teach someone and keep them out of deception. This is the very attitude
