Foreign policy is important because it has a lot to do with the trade, technology, and communications of the United States. Also by nations working together global problems can be fixed easier. Equal rights are important to the U.S because it shows that everyone has the same rights including: black people, white people, Asian, men and woman, ect. A bad president would make the economy go down, not believe in equal rights and have a bad foreign policy. The best president in U.S history I believe is Abraham Lincoln.
One of the women he appointed was Nicky Morgan, who replaced Gove as Education Secretary. This power is important because the cabinet ministers are some of the key people in how the country is run as they are all responsible for their certain departments, therefore they have a lot of control over the key parts of life for example Education. Despite all these points, it is not the PM’s most important power as they are just cabinet ministers and he can appoint/sack as many has he wants, even though they are important for the economy they aren’t the be all and end all as they do not have as much of an effect as the outcome of the power where he can declare war. Another factor that comes under patronage is the appointment of senior ministers. The Prime Minister makes all
He wanted them to be able to fix their problems themselves and let the government do more important jobs and have to worry about them less. He wanted them to become strong, independent people, but when America’s situation was as bad as it was nothing the people did could get them out of that situation. The government needed to step in and help them get out of the hole because they were too far in to pull themselves out. This concept had good intentions, but failed miserably. FDR’s Liberal ideas set new ground rules for the coming presidents to follow and his spirit and work ethic were going to be the top bar the next Presidents would have to compete with, even still
But, he also talked about how men make up the wealth and arms for the country. Benjamin Franklin’s quote speaks truths that are sometimes overlooked. First, Benjamin Franklin talked about the youth of a country and how they are the most important part for the public. This idea can be boiled down to very simple truth: it is easier to prevent something than it is to cure it. All of us should practice this in today’s world.
He adopted a nonviolent approach and was willing to defy laws created by man that he felt were inconsistent with the laws of a higher authority. His power and influence transformed our country. Although the Four Functions of Management cover only part of what it is to be a manager, they serve as the core principles of what every manager must do. Without them it is nearly impossible for a manager to effectively and efficiently inspire others to get work done. Being a good leader is hard work, but once you master it a good manager uses power and influence effectively and efficiently to accomplish goals, inspire others and improve the situation for everyone
Palin doesn't believe that we should pull out of Iraq until their government can properly handle the Iraqi people. We will Know to pull out when our commanders on the ground tell us that the proper conditions have been met. Obviously we know how to govern their country much better than they do, even though their culture, religion, and way of life are completely different than ours. Our democracy is the best system of government in the world and countries like Iraq are fortunate to have people like us come in and do our part to better unify the
Creon should not continue as king because he is not a very good leader, he is too stubborn and proud, believes in different laws and gods as his people. For instance, Creon was not a great leader that Thebes deserved. A good leader is someone who considers the impact of what he says and does on others. Creon makes all of his decisions on his own and would not admit that he is wrong. Creon wants the people to obey him and respect him, but he has not given them a reason to.
Why might Confucian philosophy displease people who are creating an empire but appeal to those securely in power? If the government is based on Confucian philosophy, they will have earned the respect of their people by treating them with benevolence and kindness. Their people will know the laws and customs of their society and will be content and because of this will be supportive of their government. Those trying to create a government would have a harder job because an empire is not created without conflict, whether you are trying to take over another empire or create a new one. If you lived under the influence of new government with different rules and new ideas 3.
1. Society functions best if each person understands his/her strengths and weaknesses and performs his/her proper role. Talent, not wealth, determines a citizen’s proper role, i.e., strong and courageous men become soldiers, those skilled with their hands become laborers, etc. 2. Education essential for good government—teach people to be good citizens.
I personally say that strength is not given but earned by what you do to get others to approve your intensions. In other words, strengths and weakness depends on a personal capacity to influence the conduct of those in government. Power seems to be based on how influential or persuasive one can be. However, I also think that no matter how much the President tries to get what he wants during his term, the President will never be the most powerful man in the country. He is always sharing his power due to the checks and balances system.
