Death penalty is a punishment that to treat the person who breaks the law seriously. The terms of death penalty can divided into two parts. Death means the living things like human and animals which end their lives. Penalty means a condemnation for breaking the rules, the normal regulations. In fact, some people deeply think that death penalty should be banned. However, there are minor people think that it is still effective in modern society. For me, I strongly believe that death penalty is effective because it can defer the crime rates, decrease the uses of Government resources and increase the safety concerns. Death penalty is effective because it decreases the cases and the rate of crimes. Everyone fears to death, don’t you? When you notice that you need to die because you committed a crime. How do you feel? If you have one more chance, will you still break the law? There are many crimes in foreign. The reason is they know that the punishments are too light. Their reason is related to human right! They and my friend, Jimmy, think that we don’t have the decision to end others’ life because no one can interrupt the thinking of ourselves. Although this may be partly true, these criminals usually kidnap, murder or affect the country’s safety. According to the Amnesty International, there were still 23 cases of death penalty existed in 2010, especially in China! Therefore, where is the point to disallow the penalty of death? The prisoners never think about the others, so why we do need to care about their human rights?
