Acting is a very controversial topic. Some people prefer the truth and honesty, but others may prefer not knowing the hurtful truth. I personally think acting is an essential part of everyday life, but people need to know when to act and when not to act to avoid the harms. "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players" as William Shakespeare said. Human beings act every single day to be fit in the civilized society we live in. We always care about our presentation and reputation in front of other people but we may not realize. We act in daily conversations to avoid the disadvantages. My friend may have a new favorite shirt that I do not like. Of course I will tell her that it is very pretty and I like it as well despite the fact that I do not like it at all. Acting this way will not disappoint my friend and we will both be happy. Imagine what would happen if I told her it's very ugly. We might not have the close relationship we have now. Acting is an essential part of keeping our relationships with other people. Because everybody is different, it is fine to act in order to support others personal belief. Even though acting will bring us benefits and avoid disadvantages. If we don't use it correctly, we might have to endure the consequence of our own fault. If we overuse acting just for the benefits, we will be living our lives full of lies. If the truth to our acts became aboveboard, we might end up losing our relationships. When other people are indecisive about their choice or we know that their doing will harm them in the end, this is the time we tell them our opinion and put the acting away. Acting can bring us hurtful consequences if we abuse it. We act everyday in front of other people and it is an essential part of everyday life.
