Being someone who is already ambitious about becoming a better person I took this assignment very seriously to see if the foundation that I have been building off from was a sturdy one. As I mentioned I am a very self-aware individual and as of recent my largest goals in bettering myself have been building my self-esteem and not being so hard on myself. In this paper I will examine the results of the LSI, comment on how accurate I feel it was and see if I have been on the right track with my self-improvement. Perfectionistic (Primary) Being a perfectionist was my highest personal style in the Life Style Inventory. Compared to over 9000 people who have taken the test I was in the 98th percentile.

The QRB course will directly aid me in my future in Corporate America and as a self-employed entrepreneur. It is absolutely necessary that I become “numbers” minded. In order to become an effective manager, I must think in terms of money. This would include concepts (and vocabulary) such as Return on Investment (ROI), revenue, profit, and sales. I will have to be an analytical thinker, which includes picking pieces of information apart, putting them together, deciphering what is fact versus what is fiction.
Furthermore, three points must be maintained when conducting interviews for potential employees. As stated in the textbook it is important that the interviewer does not manipulate the other person. The interviewer must also remember not to restrict the other person’s responses to the interview questions. In addition to these facts it is important not to convey false or misleading information to the other person. (Beebe, S. & Mottet, T. 2010 p. 220).

It was neat to read that he is focused on getting results in the right ways. It is very important to set your company up for success in the future while still maintaining the results one is trying to achieve. I believe that learning somewhat comes from being enthusiastic and always willing to try new things.

But it’d likely surprise you the stress people feel before an interview, especially if it’s for that one dream job you’ve always wanted or if that job is necessary to keep a roof over your head, or over your family’s heads, and food on the table. So hopefully, by following a few of these guidelines you can ace that dreadful, agonizing interview. The first stage in the interview process is accepting the interview.
This experience proved to be the most exciting and, at the same time, the most intimidating one in my life [Comment 2]. While the opportunity to work with MBA students created the spark that led to my deep interest in the business world and finance specifically [Comment 3], I also realized how much I had to learn. It was for this reason that I decided I needed to acquire a good basis of understanding in finance once I graduated from college [Comment 4]. I reasoned that the best way to truly learn and understand finance was to start as an accountant and get a good grounding in the basics of the income statement and its components [Comment 5]. This led to my first job as a Staff Accountant at Bob Chinn's, Inc., a restaurant operator.
