The concept is very simple. They receive different kind of retailors in their own place, show them the latest collection of clothes and try to sell it to them. Before that step, A. Manes and all her team, go to different places very famous in the fashion world as Paris, New York, Milan and so on. The main goal of these trips is finding the trendiest collection, which will be wanted by the final customer. In other words, PlaceRouge is an intermediary between the houses of fashion which will create the clothes and the retailors which will sell the products to me and you. Her job consists in detecting the newest trends and be sure that it will work on an other market. After that, she has to be very persuasive to convince the key retailors in United Kingdom that the collection she has chosen will be the collection which will work. To do so, she has to make different kind of studies around the needs of the customers of course. But the most important part of the work is studying the marketing strategy of marks. As the matter of fact, it is thanks to a winning marketing strategy that marks are able to win a market. Consequently, she has to explain to the retailors how the A mark has wan the A market. Then they think together if that strategy could be copied or adapted to the characteristic of the British market.
