To cap it all off, you have to pass a state licensing exam to officially be considered an MD and start practicing medicine in the real world. This amount of schooling is necessary because they need to be reliable and trustworthy for their patients. The most important skills out of the many needed in this career are communication and multitasking. As a doctor, you interact with patients and fellow doctors daily and are also thrown into hectic situations. Multi tasking is a much need skill because OBGYN’s are constantly on the move whether they are on call or are seeing patients all day in the office.
I would also support infection control by cleaning up any spills immediately. A Dietician will also work within the care home and will have roles and responsibilities within the structure. They will evaluate the daily food intake of the residents and then use mathematical calculations to determine the appropriate diet for that individual. They may change the diets for the residents to add more proteins or to change the amount of water they intake. After the dietician calculates a suitable diet they will make recommendations to a physician so he can write the dietary order.

It’s amazing how much I learn in the past two years at ASA College. It’s just so hard to believe that less than a week we will be done with my education. I must admit I will miss spending my time here. But most of all I will never forget how my experience as an Intern Medical Assistant with Cancer Patients. Making a difference in someone life just fascinates me, knowing that I have the power to help someone.

I decided to become a nurse. The field of science never really fascinated me. I got through it while I was going to school, but the real reason I became a nurse was to heal people in a caring way. My husband and I both work in a very demand field. We work long hours and don’t talk as much as we would like.
Then only I understood that patient is running an event of SVT. Even though we were successful in reviving the patient, he had to be transferred to ICU for a day. This incident always reminds me that if I was trained to think critically and quickly on my feet as a BSN is trained, I could have avoided the Rapid Response Code event. Thus, I believe earning BSN would help me to think critically if such situation shall arise. As one can see, there are several differences in competencies for ADN and BSN nurse.
I also need to work on keeping some of my emotions to myself because they are very easy to see on my face when something is bothering me. I have a big heart and don’t like to see others hurt or etc. Being a Medical Assistant I’m sure can be very stressful at times and I think that’s to be expecting in this career choice, so that’s something that I’m going to have to learn to manage. I do well with stress but I’ve never been a Medical Assistant so I’m sure the stress could be different that what I’m used to dealing with. My mom always told me “Leave work at work, and leave home at home” don’t mix the two cause it can be way to stressful at times if you do.
I have always pictured a geeky scientist doing actual research not anyone in law enforcement. I believe having this type of knowledge in my career will only put me a leg up on some of my co-workers that may be struggling trying to complete an effective, thorough investigation that happens every day in the level five prisons that I am employed at presently. Previously, I was asked on many promotion boards to give examples of a thorough investigation. I was able to describe details of a basics investigation and get through the promotion board. I now have knowledge of in depth details of very different types of researching.
