III- A- . IV- A- . V- A- . Advantages and Disadvantages Of Online Shopping Ten years ago, the Internet was practically unheard of by most people. Today, it is one of the most powerful tools throughout the world. The Internet is a collection of various services and resources (Lehoo,2011). Besides all the services provided the internet, internet shopping is becoming popular. However, we need to be aware of its advantages and disadvantages. “Online shopping is a continuously growing multibillion industry” (Conal, 2010). There are numerous advantages of online shopping. People favor this way of shopping because of convenience, especially those who work for long hours and have no time to go out shopping during the day. Online shopping can be done twenty four hours a day. Shoppers are able to purchase various goods and services from their own place and at their own free time. They are also able to compare prices of items easily, therefore avoiding the unwanted hassle of visiting several stores and remembering the details and price of each item. And very importantly, online shopping is of great help for the physically challenged people. In addition, some items may only be available in certain countries and this makes comparing the prices difficult for traditional high street shoppers (Conal, 2010). Via online shopping, products from around the world can be purchased, and comparing their details and price is more feasible. An item which is a regional specialty can be bought online without going in person to that location. On most occasions, the prices are cheaper online
