Internet Has Destroyed Communication Among Friends and Family

The internet is one of the great inventions of people in the twenty first century. The internet brings us a lot of advantages to all the fields of society such as communication, entertainment or sharing knowledge among people around the world. There are some people argue that the internet has destroyed their traditional communication among friends and families. In contrast, I strongly support the opinion that the internet does not destroy the communication among family and friends, and it also provides more ways to help people connect to other people. First of all, the internet helps people can contact to others despite of distance, in other words, through the internet and some software programs such as facebook, viber, skype, and yahoo, we can talk to many friends in anytime and anywhere when we want. For example, I have my uncle families , they are living in United States. Although the US is very far from Cambodia, but my family still can use the internet in order to talk, and see him very often. Second, the communication by using the internet is very easy, quickly, spend less time, and also spend little money, as a result, we can save our time and money to do other works that more effective. Before the appearance of the internet, letter and telephone are two only ways to help people to contact with their family, friends , and other people. However, using letter will consume a lot of time for waiting and send it, whereas people can send and receive the email after only one second or in a minute. Similarly, to make a phone call, especially a phone call to another country, will be more expensive than using the internet to do the communication. Because the price we have to pay for public internet service are very cheap than we pay for phone call service.
