Man has vastly improved on natural voice communication, introduced the skill of writing, and invented wireless communications, video and the internet. This has been made possible thanks to earlier inventions of electricity production and usage. The internet has turned out to be the ultimate, greatest invention of all time. Its development and connections have also received central attention by all communities world-wide. The Body The Wikipedia says, “…the Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use standard internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to serve billions of users worldwide”. This means that the internet is a communications system covering the whole world but using the same communications protocols. Protocols are a kind of language or format that computers use to communicate with each other. The development of the internet shows how mankind has tackled the challenges of communication. Normal conversation between two people requires that they only talk to each within ear-shot. However as they move apart, and as the distance between them increases, their voices fade away. Messages are lost as a result. A solution has to be found. Naturally people tend to travel any distance to convey messages, but travelling was mostly slow, costly, tiring and at times dangerous.
