Michael Kinsey Mrs. Hill Senior Project/Period 2 5 April 2007 Influence of Chorded Instruments Many chorded instruments have impacted today’s music. The development of chorded instruments like, the banjo, the guitar, and the Autoharp have influenced the music of today in remarkable ways. Even the people that believe that they don’t like chorded instruments, would be surprised at what these instruments have accomplished for many types of music. Without chorded instruments, all types of music would not be the same. It would change dramatically. Most people enjoy chorded instruments, but would not think of those instruments being a chord instrument right of the top of their head. A popular chord instrument that has evolved much over the years would be a guitar. Most people, today, would consider a guitar one of those instruments that wouldn’t seem like a chord instrument.
