This had an impact on society, as people could escape from their everyday stress and worries, and could relax for two to three hours by not thinking about anything. Also people were inspired by film actors at the time. Furthermore, many say that it is also accurate because of the up rise in sports in the US. The Roaring Twenties was the breakout decade for sports across the modern world.
After the war jobs raised and money flow was much greater. This gave people more opportunities to go out and see the world without being scared, something they couldn’t do before and during the war. Another example of commercialization in sports is Jordon Spieth he just one on the biggest stage in golf The Masters he is 21 years old and not only did he make 1.3 million dollars for winning but he is now making just as much or more with sponsorships since he has won. These examples illustrate the fact that sports have been highly commercialized. Sport has changed its form and elements. It is not just entertainment, sports have gained commercial recognition.
