Some People would think it is safe to say that an individual begins learning from the lessons received at home, moral knowledge often becomes a foundation in one’s life. We as humans learn something new from the very day we are born; and when taking into consideration that morals tend to vary from one household to another there will always be something new and unfamiliar to learn inside academic institutions. An English poet named Thomas Gray once said that “Ignorance is bliss”, this quote may be fine if applied to children, because what they do not know often doesn‘t phase them. The ignorance and bliss disappears as the children grow into adults and develop an understanding for the world around them. Unfortunately some children grow older but not wiser, developing a fear of their world simply because they received an inadequate education. Ignorance makes people more likely to discriminate and commit acts of violence out of fear of the unknown. Ignorant individuals may have the knowledge of a child in the sense where they do not know any better but sometimes it can be unfortunate that these same minds are no longer innocent the way children are. Inadequate education leaves room in a person’s life to become wrapped up with corrupt lifestyles such as drug abuse and violent gangs. Such individuals often develop a criminal mentality and pose a threat just by interacting with you and I. Say if the mentioned individual bumps shoulders with you or I in a crowded public area an apology or excuse may not be enough because they do not know of the proper way to react in such a scenerio. Allowing themselves to get pretty worked up over such a trivial situation ,in return they may speak in a obscene manner where curse words spew from the persons mouth.
